This article examines the formation of grammatical norms among learners of Uzbek as a second language and the typical grammatical errors occurring in written speech. Grammar acquisition is considered not only as the learning of grammatical rules but also as the development of the ability to use grammatical forms correctly in speech.The article discusses the grammatical structure of Uzbek, the formation of word forms, the expression of grammatical meanings through affixes, and syntactic relations within sentences. Particular attention is paid to difficulties related to case and possessive forms, number, verb forms, person and number relations, and sentence construction. Grammatical errors are viewed as important linguistic evidence reflecting the process of language acquisition. The article emphasizes the importance of speech exercises, systematic repetition, contextual use of grammatical forms, and the development of independent speech activity in the formation of grammatical competence.
