Publication Policies

The Asian Journal of Academic Research (AJAR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing, research integrity, editorial independence, and publication ethics. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated according to internationally accepted ethical publishing principles to ensure the quality, transparency, and credibility of published research.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of the scientific quality, originality, significance, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. Editorial decisions are independent of commercial interests, sponsorship, institutional affiliations, nationality, race, gender, religion, or political beliefs.

Peer Review Policy

  • All research articles undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
  • Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Editorial decisions are based on reviewers' recommendations and editorial assessment.
  • Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts before acceptance.
  • The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision.

Open Access Policy

AJAR follows a fully open-access publishing model. All published articles are freely available immediately after publication without subscription or access restrictions, allowing readers worldwide to read, download, copy, distribute, and cite published work in accordance with the applicable license.

Originality Policy

  • Submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
  • Simultaneous submission to another journal is not permitted.
  • Authors must properly acknowledge all sources used.
  • Duplicate publication is strictly prohibited.

Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review. Manuscripts containing significant plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data manipulation, or unattributed content may be rejected immediately.

Authorship Policy

  • All listed authors must have made substantial scholarly contributions.
  • Every author must approve the submitted version.
  • The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal.
  • Guest or honorary authorship is not permitted.

Research Ethics

Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements. Authors should state that appropriate ethical approval and informed consent were obtained where required.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the evaluation or interpretation of research findings.

Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to make research data available whenever appropriate. Supporting datasets should be deposited in recognized repositories or made available upon reasonable request, unless restricted by legal or ethical considerations.

Corrections and Retractions

The journal may publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when significant errors or ethical issues are identified after publication. Such actions are undertaken to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

Copyright Policy

Authors retain copyright of their published work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the article according to the journal's licensing policy. Proper attribution must always be provided when the work is reused.

Archiving Policy

The journal supports long-term preservation of published content through recognized digital archiving practices to ensure permanent accessibility of scholarly articles.
